Aboriginal/Filipino Genealogical Research

April 5, 2008 at 1:46 am (Uncategorized) ()

Two dynamic Australian Filipino sociologists are about to embark on a wide-ranging  project in Australia from the Kimberly to the Torres Strait Islands, investigating the familial roots of people of Aboriginal and Filipino descent.

The ancestral traits of people of mixed Aboriginal and Filipino heritage are still strong according to the two sociologists, and are obvious to those familiar with both cultures.

The sociologists want to tap into this heritage making the wider Australian community aware of this rich interracial legacy to the nation.

The writer of this blog wishes the two Filipina researchers every success in their investigations.
