A duffer I am, if ever there was one!

'When, in disgrace with Fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,...'

The opening words from the Bard's sonnet somehow sum up what
I'm feeling after
the con job done on me
by the scammers of my email site, and to think it was
through my stupidity that it all happened!

I only hope no one was conned to part with money,
but I'm left with the feeling that
I can't be trusted with email addresses.

Perhaps in time my confidence will be restored,
but for now, I feel like a real duffer!

Would that I could think of Deb and family,
and the many dear readers of my blog, for then, I would be
inspired by the concluding thoughts of the sonnet:

'Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings,
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.'

Life can be sweet after all!
