“Heaven I’m in heaven…”

Heaven
I’m in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
The happiness I seek
When we’re out together
Dancing cheek to cheek

Heaven
I’m in heaven
And the cares
That hung around me
Through the week
Seem to vanish
Like a gamblers
Lucky streak
When we’re out together
Dancing cheek to cheek

Oh
I love to climb a mountain
And to reach the highest peak
But it doesn’t thrill me
Half as much
As dancing cheek to cheek

Oh
I love to go out fishing
In a river, or a creek
But I don’t enjoy it half
As much as dancing
Cheek to cheek

Dance with me
I want my arm about you
That charm about you
Will carry me through to

Heaven
I’m in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
That happiness I seek
When we’re out together
Swinging cheek to cheek

Come on and dance with me
I want my arm about you
That charm about you
Will carry me through
Right up to

Heaven
I’m in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
That happiness I seek
When we’re out
Together dancing
Out together dancing
Out together dancing
Cheek to cheek

Oh, Kev & Sue, if we could only go back to those happy times! I think those legs and shoes belong to Sandy! Do I see Dave, Rick and Geoff to the right, maybe not Geoff?

Dear David, I tried sending an email on your address but WordPress.com said there was a problem with processing it. I will try doing a reply email. I hope you have recovered from your kus and are feeling good. Why are you feeling in heaven? I hope it is indicative of your current health? but not of your current location!! I have enjoyed reading of your PNG holiday and seeing the photos, but there is a sadness at the corruption and lack of sharing from the politicians in a country which has so much potential as a food and timber producer. I had a great holiday in the Sth Is, in the Queen Charlotte sounds there are the worst roads and the most beautiful scenery. It is lovely having Megan and family in P Nth, I see them often and help out with baby sitting etc. I don’t have any teaching in Term 1 but may pick up a paper in Term 2. We are having a very dry spell and wish for some rain showers for trees and pasture. Best wishes to you both, Love, Don.
