Same-sex marriage

I should be transparent about any conflict of interest I may have and state that it’s my week for women.

What does the wisdom of the elders have to say on or about this subject?

Variety is the spice of life. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. It’s natural to cut off a slice. It’s better the devil you know. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Does the Pauli exclusion principle apply? Is it two sides of the same coin? The answer perhaps lies in the soil.

From the Bible: For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage. Byron mentioned that comedies are ended in marriage. In Shakespeare’s words, hanging prevents a bad marriage.

Does this get to the crux of the matter? I think not! But what is it?

I want to be politically correct and declare a free for all: same sex, two sex, any sex, go for it! What do you think?

All I know is that at the marriage feast in Cana the Lord changed water into wine but He didn’t change anything else. So stay with the old and tried forms and to hell with Adam and Steve. I like the sound of Adam and Eve better.

I can’t see the issue with gay marriage. If two men or two woman want to do that, that’s fine by me. When another person has a problem with it, the problem resides with that person in my opinion. But if that person actively goes out of his or her way to stop people making a public commitment of love and union to each other, which marriage basically is, then that person is in error. Far better I believe for that person to begin to understand why it bothers him or her so greatly than make a public attack on others. I don’t believe Jesus would be one to make a point with sarcasm.

David, thank you for your comment, this is an important subject even if we don’t agree. Jackson

Jesus loves the sinner but not the sin. Jesus would say “Go and sin no more” according to what the Bible says…. not me!

I’m not aware of it in the Bible, but where does it say homosexuality is a sin?
